Mayabeque, Cuba: The workers of the Havana Refractory Company, the only one of its kind in the country, are working to comply with the production plans agreed for this 2021.
Regarding the fulfillment of what was agreed for the stage, the director of the company, Yamilé Pérez Imas explained the variations they had to carried out due to currency changes and the restructuring of the country.
“We had the need to lower the production plans due to the guidance of CIMEX and thus comply with them so far. The next three months will be difficult due to the lack of raw material, since 75 percent of it comes from imports, so we turn to the use of national raw materials, she added her.
The company, created in 1995, produces and markets refractory and concrete wholesalers, both for industrial use, as well as refractory sealant paste, special pieces, parts, and accessories for use in iron and steel processes that are within the non-conformed basic classification.
