Mayabeque, Cuba: The 44 delegates of the Popular Power in Madruga began preparation for the third process of the current government mandate to be held between November 11 and December 17.
In this regard, the secretary of the Popular Power, Ana María Blanco Santa Coloma, offered details: “in our municipality the delegates received the preparation at the provincial level, and next week from Monday to Thursday we will be carrying out the preparation at the council level”.
The preparation includes updated information on local administrative management, the behavior of the pandemic, the march of the vaccination process against Covid-19 and the confrontation with political and ideological subversion, among other topics of impact and interest.
These meetings of popular participation and democratic exercise have not been held for more than a year due to the epidemiological situation, which is why the process acquires particular importance, said the government secretary in the territory.
In this space, the delegate must be very well prepared with all the elements that he can provide to the people.
The objective of the representatives is to gather wills to face the difficulties and transform the neighborhoods, as well as participate actively and responsibly in the exercise of governing as an expression of Popular Power.
