Mayabeque, Cuba: The Martires de Granada Pre-University Institute (IPU), in Batabanó, received the Barrio Award, delivered by the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR).
In the activity, the member of the National Secretariat of the CDR, Julia Derrutí Molina, said that the institution received this award for academic results, patriotic work – military, cultural, sports and with the community.
She also noted that the IPU is among the 16 winners across the country.
The director of the center, José Israel Martínez Oliva, shows his pride and commitment and calls on the workers to continue working together with the people.
