Mayabeque, Cuba: The pitchers of the Mayabeque Hurricanes team Marlon Vega, Mailon Cruz and Alyanser Álvarez, appear on the list of the Cuba team heading to the first Pan American Games junior, Cali-Valle 2021, an event with an age limit set at 23 years.

The nine pitchers summoned for the appointment are completed by Naikel Cruz, from Matanzas, Kelbis Rodríguez, from Granma, José Eduardo Santos, from Sancti Spíritus, Frank Abel Álvarez, from Pinar del Río, Luis Alejandro Serpa and Alex Daniel Pérez, from Cienfuegos.

The pitchers Marlon Vega Travieso, Alyanser Álvarez del Sol and Mailon Cruz, were summoned to the national preselection under 23 years for their results in the third World Cup of that category, settled in Mexico.

The athletes from Mayabeque with their outstanding performance contributed to the Cuba team reaching 453 points in the World competition for the category, valid for the ranking of the World Baseball and Softball Confederation.
