Mayabeque, Cuba: Achieving greater popular participation in the tasks of the neighborhood is the purpose of the constituency delegates in Madruga who render account to their electors, in one of the democratic processes of the socialist system.
To date, they have held 22 assemblies of this type in the territory, with the attendance of 68 percent of the electorate that supports the solution of 17 community proposals.
The plating of green areas, the cleaning and beautification of the stables, volunteer work to increase the planting in organoponics and the messaging service for the elderly among them.
Other concerns raised in the third process of accountability of the current mandate are the responsibility of the Municipal Administration and refer to commerce, community services, transportation, aqueduct and sewerage and roads.
They are associated with the need to repair warehouses and improve supplies, instability with the collection of solid waste, reestablish the train stop in the town of Aguacate, eliminate leaks and repair the streets.
The process of accountability of the delegates to their electors will take place until December 17 next to continue betting on increasing popular participation in the management of the government.
