Mayabeque, Cuba: The farmers of the Credits and Services Agricultural Cooperative (CCS in Spanish) Porfirio Álvarez, from the municipality of Güines, exceed the agreed delivery of meat, milk and other crops.
The purpose is to contribute to the nutritional sovereignty and agricultural diversification to reduce the import of food into the country.
According to the president of the CCS, Evaldo Artiles, they exceed the meat plan by 8 tons; the prices are more affordable although they vary every month, but they have the disposition to solve this situation as soon as possible.
Work in the field contributes to promoting the Ordering Task and the systematic application of the 63 measures aimed at increasing results.
The new provisions respond to the structural, organizational, productive and socio-economic problems identified, based on a diagnosis of the behavior of the main agricultural programs in the last ten years.
