In correspondence with the above, Miguel Díaz-Canel at the closing of the Congress of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC), at the Convention Center on June 14, 2019, said:
“It is true that there is no society without an economy. And while there is no economy without production, neither can it be run efficiently without effective economists, accountants, and auditors. When you work well, you almost always prosper. When it is not, we stagnate, regress and prosperity is postponed”.
