Mayabeque, Cuba: Eleven homes were completed at the end of November with the purpose of favoring families subsidized by the Cuban state.
The cost of the works was 900 thousand pesos approved as part of the construction plan for the stage in the municipality.
As officials from the Housing Directorate in Madruga explained, due to a lower availability of material resources and current economic conditions, the construction and rehabilitation of buildings reported delays.
The decrease in the number of subsidies to be approved and higher financial amounts for construction were alternatives put into practice to benefit families.
Another option to improve the works was the elaboration in the locality of blocks, plates, joists, floor and wall elements.
