Alternative confections are among other lines of work.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Furniture SIGNO Base Business Unit (UEB), of Batabanó, focuses its work objectives on fulfilling the production plans of the center, corresponding to this year.

Like other productive sectors, Covid-19 influenced the continuous development of industrial processes, despite being one of the few labor centers in the territory that kept its days in the most difficult stage of the pandemic.

Today the group works to ensure the manufacture of furniture for tourism, a commitment assumed by the entity’s workers with responsibility and quality.

High-comfort wooden furniture, living room and dining room sets and kitchen furniture are the ones in greatest demand.

In order to fulfill its purposes, the UEB has five workshops equipped with traditional and advanced technology, operated by a trained workforce.

Other lines of work include domestic and office furniture, including the production of alternative clothing.
