Mayabeque, Cuba: A new vaccination process against Covid-19 began in the municipality of San Nicolás for children convalescing from the disease.
As reported by the nurse and head of the Program at the Emilia de Córdova Polyclinic in the territory, Mayelín Hernández, immunization with Soberana Plus began for infants up to 12 years of age who have not completed the cycle or had not received any doses.
The specialist assures that they will take into account the necessary health protocols to achieve a successful process.
At first, 46 of them belonging to the urban area will be injected and later the remaining 19 from the population settlements.
The municipality reaches an immunization rate in children against the virus higher than 96 percent, which is considerable with respect to the rate of vaccinated in other age groups.
