Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported this Monday four deaths and 1,349 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for a cumulative of 1,054,909 diagnoses since the beginning of disease in the nation, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
At midnight yesterday, February 6, a total of 17 thousand 740 patients are admitted, 10 thousand 354 suspects in surveillance 118 and confirmed active 7 thousand 268.
For COVID-19, a total of 14,703 samples were taken for surveillance on the day, with 1,349 being positive for 9.2% positivity. The country accumulates 12 million 801 thousand 333 samples carried out and 1 million 054 thousand 909 positives (8.2%).
Of the total cases (1,349): 1,308 were contacts of confirmed cases, 20 with a source of infection abroad and 21 without a specified source of infection. Of the 1,349 diagnosed cases, 751 were female and 598 male.
9.04% (122) of the 1,349 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 143,896, which represents 13.6% of those confirmed to date.
