Mayabeque, Cuba: Delegates to the Provincial Balance Assembly of the Party in Mayabeque toured entities of social economic interest in Guines, as part of the preparation activities prior to the party meeting.

In areas where the local development project for the production of ice cream takes place, self-employed worker Juan Miguel Rabre explained that in his facilities they diversify flavors and quality assortments.

For this project they approved state-of-the-art technology that favors increased productivity.

The tour included an exchange with students from the Juan Borrell Urban Pre-University Institute. There, the secretary of the Party in the municipality of Guines, Amaury López, said that in the meeting with the militancy of the province they will raise the commitment of the new generation to contribute to the development of the Homeland.

He added that they are confident that in the future they will be workers and professionals well prepared to take on new challenges.

At the Aleida Fernández Chardiet Surgical Clinical Hospital, its director, Dr. Elvis Ales Martínez, explained to the delegates about the main indicators of public health, care for seriously ill patients, and mothers in intensive care rooms, outpatient consultations, collaboration medical, execution of the budget for the purchase of medicines, supplies and other resources.

He drew attention to the need to repair the hemodialysis room and install a plant for dialysis treatment, in addition to the medical room and to have services for cosmetic surgeries, as well as the maintenance of the oxygen plant to raise the quality of the services and vitality of the hospital center.

To this is added repair work to the engineering systems of electricity, climate and food cooking. They will recently start constructive actions for the assembly of a SUMA laboratory.

The tour of the delegates to the Balance Assembly of the Party in Mayabeque also included a visit to the Mipyme for the assembly of beach flip-flops, where a young group responsibly assumes this task as new economic actors.

The intention is to contribute to local development and produce approximately 500 pairs of footwear per hour, for later sale in stores that collect currency.

In the Augusto César Sandino Base Business Unit, they learned about the results of the daily work to produce materials for the construction of houses. This center has the capacity to produce 9,000 blocks per day, in addition to tiles, hexagonal slabs, prefabricated plates and floors.

Upon arrival at the Gamarra productive pole, the delegation received information about the usufructuary Osmel Aguilar and the work on some 63 hectares cultivated with potatoes, pumpkin, bananas and other crops to contribute to food sovereignty.

They finished the tour at the Havana Refractory Materials Factory, the only one of its kind in the country, located in Guines.

In the entity, directors specified about the production lines, commercialization of the assortments, raw material and technology used in the chemical laboratory to determine the quality of the materials and other aspects of economic interest.
