Mayabeque is preparing for the gradual reopening of services to the population, the restoration of transport and the presence in the classrooms of our children and adolescents, actions that will be possible thanks to the efficiency of Cuban anticovid-19 vaccines and the measures in the province to stop the spread of the virus.
In terms of personal responsibility, we still have a lot to do to maintain what has been achieved so far and it depends on our action that there will be no setback.
“Vaccines alone are not enough,” the authorities have repeatedly said, however many ignore this statement and think that with an injection in the shoulder they are already free of contagion.
I say this because every day there are more people who violate health measures to avoid Covid-19, children who play in the street, parents who do not control them, people in queues and crowds, as well as young people in groups drinking alcoholic beverages in public places .
These continue to be times of pandemic and therefore of responsibility, discipline and acting consistent with the country’s efforts to defeat that invisible enemy that is Sars-CoV-2.
We have to fight irresponsible actions, because what has been achieved in recent months in the confrontation with Covid-19 cannot be ruined. Only with responsibility will we be able to defeat the coronavirus once and for all.
