Moscow: Russia will produce hundreds of thousands of doses of its own vaccine against the Covid-19 pandemic this year, and more than a million in 2021, Industry and Commerce Minister Denis Manturov said today.
According to Prensa Latina, the volume will initially depend on the demand of the national health system, but starting next year we could reach several million monthly doses of the new vaccine, Manturov explained.
In addition, he indicated that the country could export several hundred artificial respiration devices, although without reaching the nearly 600 sold to Uzbekistan and Italy, but talks are taking place with Egypt, Belarus, Israel, India, Peru and others, he stressed, quoted by TASS.
