Mayabeque, Cuba: The 122 twelfth grade students of the Urban Pre-University Institute, IPU, Juan Borrell, from Güines, receive high-quality preparation for the entrance exams to Higher Education, starting next Friday, October 9th .

According to the student Yarlín Alonso Fernández, they are carrying out an intensive session in the morning at different times for the semi-groups, due to the situation caused by Covid-19.

Twelfth grade student Mailenis Castillo Gil added that the training is intensive these days, they are performing different exercises and tests to delve into the three subjects: Mathematics, Spanish and History.

The Mathematics teacher Manuel Teijido Álvarez offers his support to the training of this subject, since at school they set schedules in the afternoons to interact at all times with the students.

He adds that the hours for the students’ self-preparation and self-study are added, which is very important at this stage because the student has already overcome all the contents.

The 122 students of the IPU Juan Borrell, from Güines, intensify their preparation to obtain a good result in the entrance exams to higher education to repeat that achievement obtained in previous years.
