Correos de Cuba in Mayabeque announces a new rate for its services.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Cuban Post Office in Mayabeque informs that as of today, February 1, the rates for private subscriptions are modified.

Newspapers of 26 or more runs per month (Granma), the rate is modified from 16.00 to 10.00 pesos. For any other less frequent subscription that the clients receives, he must pay 1.00 peso for each one.

Newspapers of up to 22 monthly runs (Juventud Rebelde daily), the rate is modified from 13.55 to 7.00 pesos. For any other less frequent subscription that the subscriber receives, he must pay 1.00 peso for each one.

Newspapers or publications of up to 4 or 5 monthly runs (Trabajadores, Juventud Rebelde Sunday magazine and provincial newspapers), the rate is modified from 3.10 to 2.00 pesos. If more than one subscription of 4 or 5 monthly runs is received, the subscriber only pays a fixed rate of 5.00 pesos.

Newspapers or publications of a biweekly, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly circulation of different publishers, the fee is 1.00 pesos for each subscription.

In the case of the price for the rental of Boxes and Postal Drawers, the rates also change from today.

The Postal Box will vary its annual price from 616.30 to 50.00 pesos and the Postal Drawer, also for one year, from 787.15 to 70.00 pesos.

In addition, to the private subscribers of the press and publications and to the tenants of Apartados y Gavetas Postales who paid the service in advance for the above rates, the Correos units will make an adjustment according to the modified rates.

Clients who have paid several months or the year in advance and do not wish to maintain any of these services, or do not subscribe to a newspaper or publication, will have the remaining balance returned after the discounted rates have been applied and the service will be reactivated at all those who have renounced it and want to resume it.
