Mayabeque, Cuba: Today we get up ready for the battle that we will fight once again against injustice and the arbitrariness of power.
This June 23, Cuba, dressed in the unmistakable colors of our dignified and courageous national ensign, will return to the UN podium to demand the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America.
This time, like so many others, we are encouraged by the hope that, those who are already a minority, have just understood what encourages this Island, which they have cruelly tried to defeat through the most vile and unjust sanctions and that in the midst of the most deadly pandemic of all modern times has worsened, limiting our access to combustible food and, what is more inhumane, to necessary medicines and equipment.
Given the brave response of our health personnel and especially our scientists, supported by the majority of the people who have been sacrificed, aware and proud of their human potential, we are going to see who dares to deny justice to our heroic Island.
This is the feeling of that majority who has suffered from the embargo for more than 60 years and who do not give up knowing that the truth and the right to have dreams and to fulfill them assist them.
In the effectiveness of our vaccine candidates, the result of the vigilance of our science professionals is the strength of a country, in the Martian foundations of Abdala and in the symbolism of the name of Sovereign 02 is the testimony of our hegemony, that which will allow us to continue being messengers of love and peace, sharing with altruism what we have in the middle of a world ruled by the powerful knight Don Dinero.
Faced with such solid arguments, the shameful blindness of the empire must cease!
