Caracas: The different police forces in Venezuela today have 117,000 troops nationwide, according to the Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, Prensa Latina publishes.
The minister highlighted the strengthening of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and other agencies with the return of nine thousand new agents trained at the Experimental Security University (UNES), in which about 60 thousand students are studying throughout the country.
Ceballos ratified the commitment to intensify the training processes, in addition to strengthening the PNB logistics platform, actions that allow the excellence of the police forces to be achieved.
During a graduation ceremony held at the UNES headquarters in Caracas, the vice president for Citizen Security and Peace reported that during the next year the authorities will emphasize increasing operational capacity.
In this sense, Ceballos emphasized the importance of strengthening the work of the more than 2,400 peace quadrants, physical spaces demarcated in areas of high crime occurrence, where the work of the police forces and the various forms of popular organization converge. in the confrontation with criminality.
