The number of deaths from Covid-19 recorded is 6,000,316, with the United States being the country with the most official registered deaths in the world: more than 958,000 deaths, and has nearly 79 million cases.

As for the number of infections, 446,399,672 infections have been officially confirmed so far, including more than 50,700,000 positives and 256,000 deaths during the last 28 days.

During the last 28 days, the countries that have registered the highest number of cases are Germany and Russia, both with more than four million, South Korea with more than 3.6 million, the United States, Brazil, France, Turkey, Vietnam and Japan, all of them with between two and three million infections.

The general figures worldwide have begun to decline after the rebound that began in December and continued in January and February due to the spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
