María Zajárova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Moscow: The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, María Zajárova, today urged the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and his subordinates to adopt an objective and impartial position on the situation in Ukraine, Prensa Latina publishes.

In a briefing this Thursday, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that such conduct, in accordance with the status of an international civil servant, is what allows seeking opportunities for dialogue and cooperation.

She said that this “equidistance must not become indifference”, but must be transformed into the indispensable objectivity to interpret events.

According to Zakharova, the West reacts indifferently to the atrocities perpetrated by kyiv against civilians in Donbass, referring to the March 14 shelling of Donetsk with a Tochka-U rocket, which killed more than 20 people and wounded 37.

?They diligently ignored her, kept silent in connection with another of the atrocities of her Ukrainian wards. As if nothing had happened, as if nothing had happened. As if there had not been a massacre of civilians?, she pointed out.

The Moscow representative called the act a “barbaric terrorist act” and added that her country is deeply outraged by the methods used by the Ukrainian side to conduct hostilities.

She warned that the Moscow authorities will do everything to ensure that the kyiv regime’s crimes against humanity do not go unpunished.

Zajárova, in turn, reiterated the denunciations of the Ukrainian nationalists’ refusal to provide civilians with humanitarian corridors out of dangerous areas into Russia.

“Although an agreement was reached on this with the kyiv representatives during the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, people are prohibited from moving towards Russia and can only be evacuated in the direction of western Ukraine,” she explained.

The Russian spokeswoman denounced the campaign of lies and false news spread against the Russian Armed Forces, accused of bombing Ukrainian cities.

?Everyone knows, no matter how many videos are put up in NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) structures, no matter how many video clips and fake photos are released now, the truth will still break through,? she stressed.
