Venezuela returns to the path of national dialogue.

Caracas: Venezuela is returning Saturday to the path of dialogue for peace and national stability, in view of the Bolivarian government’s call to build a broader and more inclusive agreement process, Prensa Latina publishes.

President of the National Assembly (Parliament), Jorge Rodriguez, the usual representative of the government in several cycles of talks with the opposition, announced this week the beginning of a series of meetings with several sectors of the country in the coming days.

While speaking Thursday at the ordinary session of the legislative body, the head of Parliament said that ?an intensive process of convening meetings is coming? in pursuit of the conception of an agenda for the reactivation of political dialogue in this South American nation.

Several opposition spokespersons welcomed this week the recent call of President Nicolas Maduro to reactivate the national dialogue in a more comprehensive format, and to reach out to all sectors interested in consolidating peace and the economic recovery of the country.

In this sense, opposition deputy Luis Eduardo Martinez advocated giving priority to the economic issue in eventual talks between the main political forces of Venezuela.

Moreover, the congressman said that the different sectors of the opposition legitimized by the popular vote must be incorporated to the process, including businessmen and women, workers, representatives of the media, religious communities, among other social actors.
