CORHABANA greets Mayabeque.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The CORHABANA International Choir Festival will celebrate its fourteenth edition next June and holds a previous event called CORHABANA Say Hello to Mayabeque, from March 18 to April 8, Radio Enciclopedia reports.

Created by the National Concert Music Center in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Culture in the western province, the event will take place in four municipalities: Madruga, Bejucal, Güines and San José de las Lajas.

Collateral presentations and meetings with art instructors specializing in music and with choral groups are planned every Friday until April, always at two in the afternoon.

The Camerata Vocale Sine Nomine, under the direction of the teacher Leonor Suárez, began the performances on March 18, at the Madruga House of Culture.

The Exaudi Chamber Choir will continue, under the baton of María Felicia Pérez, on March 25, at the Bejucal House of Culture.

On April 1, at the Raúl Gómez García Provincial Library, located in Güines, the Leo Vocal Chamber Choir will be presented, led by teacher Corina Campos.

The day will close on April 8, at the Cinema-Theater of San José de Las Lajas, with the National Choir of Cuba, under the direction of the teacher Digna Guerra.

The festival of choral singing, of an international nature, in its fourteenth edition, CORHABANA 2022, will be held from June 28 to July 2, in the Minor Basilica of the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, in the Historic Center of Havana.
