Mayabeque, Cuba: The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in Mayabeque from their senior management considered imminent the call for volunteer work to salute the organization’s 60th Anniversary and in support of the food program in the territory.
The meeting brought together members of the CDR, the Young Communists League, the Cuban Workers Federation, the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), as well as the Cuban Women Federation.
The strategy represented a successful opportunity for the youth of Jaruco, for example, to perform several tasks in the Cooperative of Credits and Services Rómulo Padrón.
In Bejucal, the actions included the town of Buenaventura, where actions were carried out for the cleaning of the ground and beautification of the bus stops.
In Batabanó, the participation of the people in sowing tasks was evident in the current cold season, within the productive pole to boost agricultural production.
The actions in cooperatives, gardens, and different companies or productive forms promoted weeding, sowing and agricultural work from where it was invited to continue carrying out this type of mobilization that the country and the province so seriously need.
