Mayabeque, Cuba: The Municipal Library of San José de las Lajas, Hugo Rivero del Álamo, organizes a different cultural program aimed at the elderly and the little ones at home.
According to the director of that cultural institution, Arelis Barriento, they are inserted in maternal homes, children’s homes without filial protection and Grandparents’ Homes.
She further explained that they also pay service in nursery schools with the appropriate programming for that stage of life. There they read stories, make drawings, trying to encourage love for both edges.
