Mayabeque, Cuba: The Federation of Students of Middle Education (FEEM by its Spanish initials) in San Nicolás insists on continuing to promote conscious and responsible study, as well as raising the knowledge of culture in the current scenario.

The FEEM in the municipality welcomes a total of 730 students, distributed in three centers, two of professional technical education and a pre-university.

Its fundamental work consists of preparing the student body for their incorporation into higher education, as well as transforming the internal role through compliance and quality in the performance of political processes.

Through spaces for joint reflection, the students raise their concerns and worries. These moments are of vital importance, since the results of the teaching-educational process stand out.

The individual preparation, the quality of the learning, the effectiveness of the classes, the correct use of the school uniform, as well as the participation in activities organized by the Young Communists League (UJC) and other organizations constitute incentives.

After recently reaching its 50th anniversary, the FEEM insisted on strengthening its weaknesses and enhancing knowledge of local history.

Its mission is to advance in the political-ideological and military preparation both at the national and regional levels, visit centers of historical interest, as well as rescue the talks for reflection and debate.
