Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque registers 74 positive cases of Covid-19, according to the report issued by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Of the 74 samples, all are contacts of confirmed cases. The territories of Bejucal and Jaruco have 3 each. Madruga, Batabanó and San Nicolás too reports 1 each. While Güines 10, Quivicán 2, San José de las Lajas 9 and Santa Cruz del Norte 6.
Melena del Sur is the territory with the highest incidence in the day with 38 cases.
The 78-year-old patient from Madruga is reported to be critically stable, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension and Operated Hip Fracture. He is in Intensive Care, afebrile, continues with sepsis of the surgical wound, separated from the ventilator for 12 hours, spontaneously ventilating through a tracheostomy, with good oxygen saturation. Hemodynamically stable. Chest X-ray. Inflammatory lesions in both lung fields, impressive pulmonary fibrosis. Evolutive PCR: negative.
In addition, an 83-year-old citizen residing in that territory is in serious condition. She has a Personal Pathological antecedent of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Arterial Hypertension and Ischemic Brain Vascular Disease. She is in Intermediate Care, afebrile, ventilating spontaneously with supplemental oxygen and good saturation. Hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Blood gas with acceptable parameters. Chest X-ray. No inflammatory lesions.
