Mayabeque, Cuba: Around 20 thousand residents of Madruga are waiting for the start of the health intervention with the corresponding Cuban vaccine candidate (ABDALA or SOBERANA 02), confident in the efficacy and quality of the revolutionary science.
The government and several administrative departments are working quickly to prepare for the process, while the public health sector strongly joins these efforts, according to the Vice Director of Medical Assistance, Dr. Yanelis Vargas Fernández: We finished the definition of the persons that will be involved in the vaccination process, that is, the nurses, doctors and all the support personnel, whether they are graduates, health technologists and all those who live in the communities that will be supporting the process” .
These personnel directly linked to the health intervention process in the population will be trained as of this Wednesday, Vargas Fernández said.
Madruga increased the vaccination centers from 25 to 29, with a view to facilitating access to citizens and is working on the placement of advertisements and the beautification of these places, with the purpose of declaring them ready next Saturday, June 19.
The inhabitants of this municipality are expectant, optimistic and confident in the public health personnel, who have benefited from the three doses of the vaccine candidate ABDALA, the Vice Director of Medical Assistance, Dr. Yanelis Vargas Fernández added.
