Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque reports today 126 positive cases of Covid-19, 6 of them without an identified source of infection, distributed in its 11 municipalities, according to the national part of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The municipality of Güines today with 49 is the one with the highest number, followed by San José de las Lajas with 31, Nueva Paz with 12 and Batabanó with 11, while Madruga and Jaruco confirmed 5 new cases of the disease yesterday. Santa Cruz del Norte 4, Bejucal and Quivicán 3, San Nicolás 2 and Melena del Sur 1.
According to the report offered by Doctor Francisco Durán García, 8 patients from Mayabeque are treated in intensive therapy units, 6 critically and 2 seriously ill.
The Cuban citizens reported as critical are 4 from the municipalities of Güines, 67, 77, 80 and 57 years old, and from San José de la Lajas, two women, 58 and 76 years old.
While reported as serious, there is a 32-year-old woman from the municipality of San Nicolás and a 73-year-old adult from San José de las Lajas.
