Mayabeque, Cuba: Major General Ramón Pardo Guerra, Chief of the National Civil Defense Staff and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), visited El Cangre Popular Council, of the municipality of Güines, to verify the compliance with health protocols.
“In the polyclinic they have just explained to us that they have all the resources available, as well as the care for the entire population, the samples are taken on time, the transport to take the sample is also on time, so where is the problem that we didn´t just cut the transmission?
“It is in a certain indiscipline and lack of perception of the risk of families and individuals, an issue that must be insisted on, all authorities have to continue controlling and do a lot of political-ideological work, explain the problems that the disease provokes and the need to take care of everybody.
The representative of Public Health at the Cangre polyclinic, Yanivet Suárez la Rosa, in exchange with Pardo Guerra expressed, “at this time if the infected are detected in an investigation, they are sent to the doctor’s office with extended hours, there a physician evaluates them, then we report them to the rapid response group of the Marta Martínez polyclinic, they informed the Municipal Health Directorate and they to the province in order to transfer the patient, meanwhile we keep the sick person in a room prepared for isolation ”.
