Municipal Center for Entomophages and Entomopathogens.

Mayabeque, Cuba: In the Municipal Center of Entomophages and Entomopathogens of Madruga, the production of nematodes is maintained at an increasing rate this month.

Nematodes are round worms, they have an elongated, cylindrical and non-segmented body, with bilateral symmetry. The male often has a curved or helical posterior end with copulatory spicules and, in some species, a caudal pouch called a bursa.

The entity obtained more than one thousand and forty million biological means with positive results in the crops to combat pests.

There is technical effectiveness in the application of hetero rabiti nematodes for the control of soil pests; these productions benefit the demands of other territories of the provinces.
