Mayabeque, Cuba: MAYAPLAST is the first micro, small and medium-sized company in Mayabeque, approved by the Ministry of Economy and Planning to manufacture plastic items.
As part of the strategy for new economic actors at the country level, this family business perfects the forms of management and the progressive development of its finances.
In this way, it is conceived to have greater facilities for positioning in the market and the inclusion of new partners through the presence of an autonomous workforce.
The president or majority partner, Ariel Abelino Díaz Martínez, said that this initiative has a great impact as it creates jobs in San José de Las lajas and guarantees new packaging for minindustries and state companies.
Díaz Martínez added that they recycle all solid waste, turning it into raw material through an industrial process.
The president added that they include new machinery to diversify productions with the manufacture of water tanks, beach chairs, school furniture, among other items.
