Mayabeque, Cuba: Seven entities belonging to the municipality of Bejucal are in the process of becoming micro, small and medium-sized companies, Mipymes by their initials.
The general director of economy in the territory, Jorge Perera Naranjo, indicated that the Metal Confections Workshop, the Automotive Workshop and the Printing Office, are among the proposals.
In the private sector there are two specialized pizzerias, a disco-bar-with night services and a Blacksmith’s Workshop with all the requirements to adopt this new economic modality.
Perera Naranjo announced the benefits of the Mipymes for representatives and the importance of the assortments.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning in Cuba, Alejandro Gil Fernández, the first sources of creation will be the current businesses of self-employed workers, who have extensive staffing and, in the case of the state, they are working on the analysis of which institutions could be incorporated into the experience, always focused on the priorities of the country.
