Mayabeque, Cuba: The results of Cuba on the application of botanical seed, as a nutritional supplement, will be announced at the Second International Symposium on Tithoniadiversifolia, an event convened by the Institute of Animal Science (ICA), located in Mayabeque, and the Center for Research of Colombia.
The contest is scheduled within the framework of the International Convention on Animal Production and Agro -development 2022, which will be held in the province of Matanzas, from October 10 to 15 of this year.
The ICA researcher, Doctor of Sciences, Tomás Ruiz, highlighted the peculiarities of the event and the peculiarities of Tithonia as foliage of high protein value.
“It is one of the plants that the country is expanding at the moment, through a national program of the Ministry of Agriculture, called Protein Plants. To this symposium we will bring two very innovative topics, which should be recognized by many countries. One is the technology for the production of botanical seed from this plant and the other is the results of the outstanding materials from the eastern part of the country”, the ICA researcher explained.
