Mayabeque, Cuba: At the National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA) located in Mayabeque, the water treatment plant was reopened to coincide with the 31st anniversary of the creation of the current production department.

The CENSA, an institution belonging to the scientific pole of the province, has among its auxiliary services the production of purified water and since this department was founded, this assistance has been in charge of this group.

Since its constitution in 1991, three investment processes have been implemented in this unit for the production of purified water of different qualities such as type 1, very useful in the molecular biology laboratory, type 2 used in laboratory work and water for injections intended for to the production of Surfacén.

Purified water in the laboratory is one of the main concerns of those trying to carry out accurate and efficient experiments.
