The governor of the province, Tamara Valido Benítez, presented the main damages at a meeting of the Defense Council. When talking with the authorities of the province, she specified that there is a commitment to solve each problem.
Along with the agriculture sector, housing, education, communications and electricity also report damage.
Valido Benítez refers that the territory is the most affected by the hydro-meteorological phenomenon in the country.
A total of seven homes show deterioration in the municipalities of San José de Las Lajas, Güines, Jaruco and Melena del Sur.
