Mayabeque, Cuba: The project for food sustainability in the municipalities (PROSAM) benefits the productive forms of Bejucal.
The Canadian firms Karem and Oxfan, together with the Soil Institute of our country, finance the investments of this project.
Its mission, according to the coordinator of the same in this demarcation, Norberto Abrahantes, is to facilitate production processes in pursuit of achieving local development and sustainable food production.
Three Credit and Service Cooperatives (CCS) and the town’s urban farm received raw materials, advanced technology equipment, as well as training for their workers.
