Mayabeque, Cuba: The provincial act for the start of the 2020-2021 school year took place at the “Ciro Redondo” primary school in Bejucal.
The school principal, Livan Alonso Rodríguez, received the Licenciate of Primary Education degree. Regarding the importance of the choice of this center to hold the central act in Mayabeque for the beginning of the new school period, he expressed: “This is a high responsibility, we had to prepare hard for the teaching stage, we took a week preparing for this day”.
Alonso Rodríguez argued: “we have learned a lot in the exchange with leaders of the province who today accompanied us in this event, they left us fundamental missions such as maintaining everything achieved so far, strengthening the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the center, the creation of the Committee of the Young Communists League (UJC) and continue with the social purpose that is to educate the new generations and teach them”.
The workers who participated in the maintenance work of a facility that has a 70-year useful life, were publicly recognized.
The Union of Education, Science and Sports, granted students, teachers and parents, the status of Colectivo Martiano. In a special way, the work of the educational sector in the confrontation with COVID-19 was highlighted, a certificate delivered to the Provincial Director of Education, María Daily Guerra Moré.
