Mayabeque, Cuba: Clara Toledo Hernández, an official of the Agri-Food Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), on a visit to Batabanó, evaluated the progress in the current cold campaign.
In a tour of several productive forms of the territory, Hernández became interested in the lands planted with cassava, tomatoes, beans, as well as domestic and export potatoes.
From a 370-hectare plan, Batabanó has 62.60 and is expected to reach 120 by the end of the year.
The official insisted on intentionally planning from now on the brigades of the different political and mass organizations, say UJC, FMC and CDR that will participate in the collection and storage of the products.
