Diagnosed patients are concentrated in the municipalities of Güines with 3 and Bejucal with 1.
In his usual televised briefing, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, reported that from Mayabeque a 48-year-old Cuban citizen from Quivicán is admitted, in a stable critical condition. Among the Personal Pathological antecedents he presents Arterial Hypertension, Multiple Myeloma and pathological fracture of the spine with spinal cord involvement. He is in the Intensive Care Unit, afebrile, on mechanical ventilation with moderate respiratory distress. He is hemodynamically stable, with a tendency to hypertension. Oliguric.
While reported as serious, there is a 51-year-old Cuban citizen, from Nueva Paz, with no Personal Pathological Antecedents. He is in Intensive Care, conscious, cooperative, afebrile, with a tendency to hypoxemia, on spontaneous ventilation, with supplemental oxygen, in the prone position. This patient is hemodynamically stable, maintains his diuresis, with a respiratory alkalosis. Chest X-ray. Inflammatory lesions lower third of the left hemithorax and right basal Hilium.
Also in serious condition is a 78-year-old Cuban citizen from Madruga. Among her Personal Pathological Antecedents, she presents Arterial Hypertension, Ischemic Heart Disease and Poliomyelitis with Motor Disability as a sequel.
She is in intensive care, afebrile, conscious, uncooperative, with superficial polypnea spontaneously ventilating with supplemental oxygen. Hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Blood gas with metabolic acidosis.
From Güines, a 90-year-old Cuban citizen with a Personal Pathological History of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Protein-Caloric Malnutrition is reported in serious condition. He is in intensive care, disoriented, afebrile, with dyspnea on exertion, spontaneously ventilating with supplemental oxygen. Hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Gasometry with respiratory alkalosis and mild hypoxemia. Torax X ray. Pulmonary fibro emphysema.
