Mayabeque, Cuba: Los Rojas SRL is the first micro-company in Mayabeque legally registered under notarial action as part of the new management model for the improvement of the Cuban economy.
The formalization before the notary constitutes a transcendental step for the legal personality in order to access sources of raw materials and other resources, as explained by the stockholder Roberto Rojas Fernández.
The fundamental objective of the MIPYME is to guarantee the local supply from production for the people. 30 percent of the assortments will be added to the market in freely convertible currency.
Raw materials like artificial flavors and stabilizer are imported.
Other destinations are hotels in the north of the province.
On her side, Yulexis Utria Rojas, also partner along with her husband, explained that this MSME located in the municipality of Güines arose from a local development project.
It directs its productions to the production of fruit ice cream, yogurt and cheese. It also generates employment for people and links others to pluri-employment.
The Provincial Director of Justice, Gresi Delgado Toirat, said that the constitution before the notary offers legal certainty with the completion of procedures for the novelties of the new legislation for Cuban economic actors.
From the moment the notarial public action is registered in the commercial register, it acquires legal personality.
