Mayabeque, Cuba: In 1976 the banking system in Cuba welcomed Mario Sorí among its workers, a man who could not imagine remaining more than four decades in the sector.
Today retired as a Business Manager at the Credit and Commerce Bank (BANDEC by its Spanish initials) in Güines, he feels the pride of forming a family there and in recognition of his work he received the Seal for 45 years in the sector.
“You have to meet all the requirements and study, I was promoted to different positions until I got to Business Manager,” Mario said.
“When I started working, everything was done manually and I would observe all the changes,” he asserted.
“The bank is the axis of the economy, because it is the one that finances investments, that is why I always worked with the idea of helping and improving myself,” he added.
