Mayabeque, Cuba: The literary meeting La Buhardilla was held at the headquarters of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) of Mayabeque, located in Bejucal.
For the second time after several months without taking place due to the epidemiological situation, several artists from the province met between letters.
The special guest was Jorge García Prieto, an outstanding writer who won the Riverón award with his book Animal errático, and on this occasion he shared some of his writings.
In addition, Teresa Regla Pérez Medina, the plastic artist and writer, Iran Cartaya and other members of the UNEAC and the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) were present in the demarcation.
The young poet from Bejucal and coordinator of La Buhardilla, Daniel Duarte de la Vega said: “It is a space with the main objective of bringing several generations closer together; it encourages debate and exchange of literary knowledge such as synergy and self-feedback from the human point of view. and professional”.
