Mayabeque, Cuba: The Municipal Balance Assembly of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) met in Batabanó, with an exhaustive analysis of the main problems of the population and the role of the organization in the current context.
The meeting was attended by the officials of the Central Committee of the PCC, Iván Pérez Pérez and Nuria Coballos Coba, as well as the first secretary in Mayabeque, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich.
On the basis of the ideas and guidelines approved at the Eighth Congress, they discussed issues such as high prices in agricultural products due to the scarcity of these in the markets, non-compliance with plans agreed for tourism in the Furniture SIGNO Company and the results of the Camilo Cienfuegos Fishing Company.
The member of the Central Committee of the Party, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich, explained to those present the role of this body in the grassroots and the work with young people, who are the quarry of the Revolution.
Another of the issues discussed was cadre politics, which constitutes a priority in the new stage, in addition to ideological work with peasants and self-employed workers, planting, producing and marketing food.
With 99 percent of the votes, Jesús Manuel Díaz Pérez, was reelected as first secretary of the Party in Batabanó.
