Mayabeque, Cuba: The Cuban Association of Limited Physical Motors (ACLIFIM), of Melena del Sur, carried out its balance with a period longer than usual given the incidence of the crisis caused by Covid-19.
“It is a special balance for the moment we live, after two years under the scourge of the pandemic. There were points that we could not fulfill due to the incidence of the new Coronavirus and we agreed to consummate them before next March”, the president of the organization in the territory, Bárbara Quiñones Escalona, explained.
The need for a location for the ACLIFIM headquarters, the creation of workshops where associates can develop their capacities, the sensitization of those who provide essential services, the possibility of expanding the ambulance bus and the delivery of subsidies, were the most demanding demands of the important balance.
“Although it is difficult to meet more regularly, which became more complex in the period of isolation of the associates, meetings like this one to which we can summon directorates and entities are fundamental to achieve the visibility we need”, the president of the ACLIFIM in Melena del Sur said.
