Mayabeque, Cuba: With the commitment to collect 920 tons of lobster, the group of the Industrial Fishing Company, of Batabanó, will carry out the central activity for the lifting of the ban on June 27.
Thirty-one vessels of the entity, with five collection centers and the same number of shipments, will work until February 2023 to fulfill the order.
The director of the Industrial Fishing Company, Mario Viamonte Ocaña, explains that they will read out the political-labour commitment of the workers involved in the task and will recognize those outstanding in the maintenance and repair of the boats.
He explained that they will develop competitive participation games to promote traditions such as the boat regatta and the extraction of the barley rope.
The day will culminate with a giant fair, where food and agricultural products will be sold, an activity to praise the work of those who contribute to boosting the country’s economy.
