Mayabeque, Cuba: The collective exhibition Quimeras, dedicated to International Women’s Day, was inaugurated at the Arístides Fernández Universal Art Gallery, in the city of Güines.

The works of Flora Font, Zaida del Rio and Rachel Pérez Troncoso stand out, among others, inspired by aspirations, challenges, dreams, illusions and feminine utopias.

To these are added the works of prestigious painters, photographers and creators of the province.

Various tones nuance the colors that give life to ladies represented with a contemporary approach around their work, identity, perspectives on life and spirituality.

The painter Luis Alerto Saldaña shows one of the works from the series Stereotypes. In the piece he shows the subtlety of feminine charm.

Another of the exhibitors is the photographer and writer José Antonio Martínez Coronel. The snapshot reflects the ancestral condition of the subject of women.
