Mayabeque, Cuba: The School for Sports Initiation (EIDE) of Mayabeque Antonio Ñico Jiménez, is getting ready for the restart of the 2019-2020 school year and the opening of the other academic period, with the implementation of the sanitary measures directed by the Ministry of Public Health.
This was confirmed by the methodological technical director of High Performance in the Presidency of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), Oscar Nuevo, after a tour of the center.
“There are already all the resources for students to return to the center, I was able to verify the compliance with some of the indications of the central body, such as the placement of footsteps, physical distancing in classrooms and bedrooms, and a high level of understanding is appreciated on the part of the workers of the need to implement the measures to avoid contagions”, the manager concluded.
The campus located in Güines, will have an enrollment of 550 students, adding the three extensions that it currently has.
During these days, teachers and service personnel complete tasks such as: painting the premises, veneering areas and leaving classrooms and bedrooms ready for the September 1st to receive the students.
