Mayabeque, Cuba: Several writers from Bejucal contributed with their creations during the months of confinement to the local literary heritage.
“Despite the epidemiological situation presented for more than a year in all the country, the writers of our territory have continued their contribution with creations aimed at the municipal literary heritage and thanks to this they have obtained prizes and publications,” the literature instructor of the Municipal House of Culture “Félix Pita Rodríguez”, María del Carmen Rodríguez Rodríguez, commented.
The books written by different authors in the territory were published during this time and are also part of selections to participate in international events.
Rodríguez Rodríguez also referred to the achievements of the young writer Lisneidys González Monsibaez who made collaborations in different foreign poetic anthologies, in addition to venturing into other genres such as narrative for children and adults.
