Mayabeque, Cuba: A workshop to spread the practice of Chi kung was held in Güines, as part of the summer activities promoted by the local National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) and the national schools of Wushu and Chi kung .
According to information from the journalist Ibrahim González Contreras, during three Saturday days they carried out demonstration classes at the Carlos Baliño sports team, taught by professor Eusebio Travieso Hernández, with the support of activists.
To carry out the demonstrative exercises, the hygienic-sanitary measures guided by the Ministry of Public Health for COVID-19 were complied with at all times, including the use of the mask face and the physical distancing.
The professors explained how to perform different exercises of Chinese origin that favor the skeletal-muscular system, reflexes and prevent stress, among other conditions.
Travieso Hernández said he was pleased by the interest shown by the attendees, and hopes when conditions allow it, to incorporate a large number of practitioners to these Chinese modalities that promote health.
