How is it possible that a country that vaunts of criticizing the political system of others for alleged violations of human rights, will be the cause of the death of so many people, due to its refusal to provide them with a necessary medicine?

How is it possible that there are children with special educational needs who cannot received the adequate care due to the lack of means for their development and cognitive evolution?

The negative impact of the blockade corrupts all spheres of the Cuban system, since it deprives us of multiple resources that interrupt the sustainable development of the nation.

The government of our country is forced to deal with the loss of export earnings and suffer higher import costs, which causes multiple limitations to the growth of our economy.

Despite the fact that its effect is highly detrimental to the economic sector, the social damage caused by the blockade is greater, mainly in the area of ??health and education. That is where the consequences of the American siege are truly profound.

The United States government intensifies its plan of economic isolation with the objective of destabilizing the well-being and the evolution of the health and educational development of our country, depriving us of the access to numerous resources of incalculable value in these social spheres in the midst of a pandemic that is pressing the lives of thousands of human beings.

The fact is indisputable that to increase foreign investment and have access to advanced technology we need capital, a reality denied to Cuba for 6 long decades.

These economic causes cause not having the necessary finances for the purchase of medicines or other equipment in the health sector, in addition to limiting external medical aid.

We present great difficulties related to access to modern medical equipment that could contribute to the rehabilitation, treatment and even the cure of numerous diseases, the vast majority of them fatal.

As for the education sector, we currently have a considerable deficit of teaching aids. It is worrying how many of the Cuban students do not have their complete study material base.

Likewise, the impossibility of having modern experimental means and equipment in our university centers hinders the possibility of achieving new advances in science and technology and therefore slows down our capacity for evolution and improvement.

We will not give in to the fury of the executioner who every day tries to tighten the rope more in search of total suffocation and it is that even being participants in the last breath we will know as always to loosen the rope and breathe again.
